Conversation Between m-chan68 and Per4mance

Hi Mike, still working on the 5.4 It had a clogged injector on #8 replaced it. Still sounds like it has a miss. Original codes was a PO 174 and a #8 misfire. Would a clogged up cat make it keep doing a misfire? I'm a little busted up and really can't work like I want. My scanner isn't working right either. I'll try watching the trim and see if that can give me some info. It does pop back through the intake. Could it be the valve solinoides......has no code or noise in the chains.
