    hey
I added the following to thread re:fuel leak in my dad's truck but wanted to ask you-your advice really helped>I managed to replace the lift pump but fuel is still leaking from the same spot-at the bottom of the lift pump where the metal fuel line that runs up to filter goes into the pump. The only thing holding the line in place is a threaded piece that screws into the pump around metal line. Is there supposed to be a rubber seal, ring, something @ this spot (the bottom of pump)? Dude@ local Ford place said there should be a seal @top of line @ filter, not @ bottom. Metal fuel line is flared @the end going into pump. Might this flared end be worn down &therefore not sitting properly? If it is worn, it's worn evenly as I can't see/feel any nicks. I thought the line itself may be bad but don't see any leaks anywhere on the line-only from where it goes into pump.Guy @ local Ford place said that fuel line is 'obsolete' Any suggestions for stopping the leak or a substitute fuel line?
