Very cool! Too bad I just bought my 09...

Hmmm....Maybe I can convince the CEO that she NEEDS an F150?

    Well, it could happen.

Will do. I'm kind of disappointed that you can't get the 6.2 in a 157" WB SCrew though. I really need the longer bed so I may end up with a 5.0. Guess we'll see. The wifey likes my SD and wants me to get another so I guess I'll have to take her on the test drives...LOL. On the subject of the EB, I'm kind of up in the air about it. I'd like to see how it does for a year or two before I'd consider it. On the other hand, all new engines had to start somewhere. I know the warranty is there and that's great but I don't want to spend a lot of time with a new truck tied up in the shop like some of my 6.0 brethren have with their trucks.

No one can have too many friends!

$34k and change was right at where my 2009 ended up...I used X-Plan as a start and we haggled a little. Then I unleashed the CFO (i.e., wife) on the sales manager (she refused to talk to the salesman). LOL.

I gotta admit the improvements (especially in the transmission) in the 2011s make me wish (just a little) I'd waited 2 years, but such is life. The 97 was starting to show her age. Dying to hear what new owners think of the new engines, especially the EB.

Keep me posted on the new 150!

Hey Charlie! No problem on the reps....great advice there. Oh and thanks for the friends request! On another note, I missed a whale of a deal. I've been looking strongly at the F-150s. My dealer had a SCrew Lariat 4x4....MSRP of $44k and priced it to me out the door at $34k and change. Talked to the little Mrs. about it and lo and behold, they sold it yesterday. Guess I'll wait and see what the 2011s look like. He told me he's got all of the info on them and can build, price, and order one now for me if I want. Think I'll go down this week just for giggles. He said Ford's got an upcoming class in MD, IIRC, that his salespeople are going to in the next few weeks. He's going to let me know what they find out.
