Where are you wondering about? The front section was boxed because of the steering box. I plated the outside of the rail and boxed the inside with slugs to stiffen it up and try to prevent the steering box from ripping the frame. The middle section in boxed from engine to rear cab mounts flush with the outside of the C. The rear section will be done also, just recessed into the frame an inch. I'm doing it to help stiffen the frame from flexing so much. A roll cage will be added later. Basically, I want the suspension to do the work instead of the frame.

had a quick question i was goin through you pictures on your 79. is there a reason you welded the c channel shut? thanks alot
