Conversation Between Volvo92906 and bootruck

I believe the two tanks are different, and would require different sending units. My current truck only has 1 tank and I did not use the mid tank on my previous truck so I have never had it out.. If your gauge works on the one tank, but not on the other, I would assume that it would be your sending unit. As for which one you need, I would post another thread and maybe someone with more knowledge can help you out. Sorry I cant help more.

thanks for your reply about the ac removal, would you know about the sending unit? I am finding some for the rear tank and some for the left and right tanks, are these all different? the back tank will register on the fuel gauge but I'm told there is a problem with that tank, the front tank won't register at gauge. can I use the sending unit from the rear tank in the front tank? thanks steve
