I wouldn't feel too bad about the 4.6 instead of the 5.4 in your truck. I like the 5.4 in my '06 but I also have a '97 F150 with the 4.6 and it's been a really good engine. Not one bit of trouble and it's got close to 140K on it.

Besides the 5.4 3v is not a "power-house" itself. Love the Ford half tons but they need more power in all the engine options.

It's not bad this is my 2nd time here. The hardest part is just being away from home. This wasn't my first choice in color but it was a left over 06 I bought in 07. With the rebates and stuff I got I couldn't pass it up. Wish it was a 5.4 though.

Very nice truck. That's my favorite color on an F150. Unfortunately I couldn't find one equipped the way I wanted it in anything but black when I bought mine in late 2006.

I noticed you stated you are currently in Afghanistan. My son who is at Ft. Bliss, Tx. right now is slated to be deployed to Afghanistan most likely in August 2009.

What's it like "over there"???
