Conversation Between crazyredneckanyhow and Big Big Blue

I am interested in installing fenderwell exhaust headers on a 460cid. When I talked to L&L they told me I would need their part number 79750B, and that I would need to lift the body 3 inches in order to clear the steering knuckle. Any suggestions?

I havent did a body lift. I personally hate them because they cause alot of problems. Explain to me what your lookin to get the extra lift for. There are alot better way to achieve lift than a body lift. Ill help out anyway i can.

I have a question for you regarding a body lift for a 73-79, f-250, high boy, 4x4, factory air, np 435, divorced np 205, crew cab. I am asking you because it appears you have already done this and I haven't been able to find the information. I would like to know what items, if any must be modified, lengthened, replaced, etc. in order to lift the body a minimum of 3 inches. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
