Hello sir. I've posted about my truck in the relevant forum. But I really need some help getting it going, so I'm reaching out. It's a 1990 F150 302 5speed 4x4. I got the calibration code out off the door jam, 0-53E-R00 FOAE-6E061. I'm trying to find the correct PCM code for the truck, because it appears to have a JY or ebay ecu, because of the model and info written on it in sharpie. I want to eliminate the possibility of the wrong PCM being installed. My issue is that the truck dies when you stab the throttle. If you give it less than 1/4 throttle, it will be okay, but the drivablility is horrible. I tried to pull codes, but the CEL doesn't illuminate. When I put the jumper from STI to pin 2, and try to use a light, with the negative on pin 4, all that happens is the CEL on the dash illuminates, but no flashes. I've checked timing (at 10 to 11 degrees BTC) and fuel pressure (35 psi at idle, when accelerating engine, stays at 35 and drops slightly.) Any info is EXTREMELY appreciated.
