Maybe they had in the past, but aren't comfortable doing so on a large truck.

That's interesting. That's the only company I've heard of that does it. Stu

I probably wouldn't be comfortable having them welded and redrilled, being cast iron. But if the new pattern could be fit in between the original, that would be no problem. The only sleeving/relining outfit I've contacted is Don at jgrelining.com but he said they don't reline drums that large.

I've not done anything more on this since that discussion thread. Finding same sized drums with a different bolt pattern, then redrilling for your 6 x 7.25" pattern, is an interesting idea. But that's a question for your machine shop I think. Could they weld up factory holes and redrill, and have comfort about safe usage? I know the sleeving idea is viable. Stu

Stu, saw your input on this older thread about the hard-to-find C2TZ-1126-D drums https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ot-advise.html

I was wondering if your idea of possible cross-referenced drums matching the C2TZ-1126-D drums ever came to light? The idea of re-drilling the 6x7.25" pattern on a similar drum has also crossed my mind, but I'd have no idea where to start to find a matching drum profile. Any new thoughts on the subject?
