Conversation Between timbersteel and badger122068

Good Morning. I was just reading a post from you regarding high resistance in oil pressure gauge circuit. I happen to be struggling with a high [hot] reading on my temp guage, but engine shows 190 - 201 deg W/ non-contact thermometer @ T'stat housing and right by temp sending unit. Could there be a high resistance issue here as well?
