Many years ago when I was much younger and less wiser I got my jeep stuck in the sand at Pismo Beach. I had a winch but nothing to tie to. I wound up digging a deep hole, put my winch cable through the spare tire and then buried the tire. It held just enough to get me out. You'd have to bury quite a few tires to get one of these trucks out.
