I'm not sure if I understand your second problem. The forums don't update while you are viewing them. Just refreshing the page doesn't do it? You might try clearing your browser cache and cookies and logging in fresh.

hello, when i signed up for fte i used to get emails when someone replied to my post and now i don't , do you know how i can fix this. also in order to see updated conversations on a thread i have to go out of the forum and come back in to see new post. is there a way to fix that? thanks for your time
