Dear sir,
My name is Lars Hansen and I have a 1985 F-250 with a 6.9L IDI. I'm looking at building it into a trail monster, I have a set of toploading rockwell 5ton axles that are going under it to handle a set of 52"+ sized tires, and an exo cage and dove tail flatbed to take care of roll protection. However I know I'm going to need a lot more power than a tired out 6.9 can provide. Where can I source parts? Specifically looking to help it breathe better with some head mods, a better turbo, (it has an old Banks non-wastegated) intake manifold, and a cam. Also need to help the bottom end hold onto the boost, and be able to get enough fuel into the mix. I just want to build something that you don't see every day. Any advice you can give me is much appreciated,
