So I bought this truck

It's a 1979 Ford F-150. It's a beater and it has it's quirks. Supposively it has the 351 Windsor, but I think this year truck only came with the modified. It has a 4 speed manual and it's 4wd. The transmission is a little rough and it has it's share of leaks. I'm liking it though. Definitely gonna be a project

Well, since it looks exactly like the 400 in my '78, minus the dealer air, I'd say you have a 351M in there if he was right about the 351 part. If you wanna know for sure, you could measure the stroke. 400 is 4" 351 is less. However, I would say without a doubt that is one of those two.
