Sears 50% off Monroe, Rancho shocks
Just noticed in the newspaper today, Sears Auto Center has a special 50% off sale on Monroe Sensa-trac, Monroe Reflex and Rancho shocks. Supposed to be from 5pm Friday thru noon Saturday.

The Iowa Sears said that the Monroe Reflex's were $76/ea for the front and $77/ea for the rears with free labor. Rancho RS5000's were $68.99/ea for the fronts with $20 labor to install. No rears were indicated to be available.
Rancho RS9000's were said to be not available.

I went to sears and bought the reflex shocks, the original price was 305.96 plus tax I paid 162.91 including tax they had to order them,will be here next week.

Mine are getting installed now. I was on vacation pasty week when they came in. The Sears tech installing just tried to tell me they were wrong because the fronts where compressed in the box and the rears had the two bolt holes for the top. I said no, these are correct and showed him how to adjust the shocks to get them to uncompress. If I didn't have an HOA that banned car maintenance I would hAve done it myself. Oh well, $260 insatlled.

Nope, not one bit. Our HOA prohibits car maintenance of all types in the community. Each violation is a minimum $50 fine and goes up. They have done stupid crap like put liens on homes for having a fence out of spec and owners not paying the "fines". You get a $50 fine if your trash can is in front of your house the day after pickup. It's crazy and I can't wait to move.
