violent shaking...and im not even moving.
hi! i went out to move the truck this morning(18*snowy) and it started up fine. waited for it to warm up for about 3 minuetes then started turning it around and putting it at the end of the driveway. now im not gonna lie, i got 'on it' a little in the snow.after i pulled up to put it reverse to finish the turn around, i noticed the whole truck was shaking violently. the rpms weren't fluttering. the CEL came on last night when i got home. when i put the truck in park, the cel was flashing! i have no clue whats going on. im gonna get the codes pulled later today. why would the cel flash?

The CEL flashing and violent shaking is an indication of multiple misfires. You got snow up on top of the engine that immediately melted and is shorting out the spark. You will likely have to pull out the COPs to dry it all out. Don't run it too much in this condition, it can destroy the O2 sensors and the CATs. Good luck!

on a side note, what does the 4.6 normally idle at? is 5-600 a good idle?
