engine /tranny swap
I have 89 f150 5spd, B.G.transfer case, 302 C.I. eng., my question. is there a tranny that will mate up to both the eng. and transfer case that would also hold up if I increased H.P. output by a 150 ponies or so ? also a friend has a great deal on a 400 + H.P. 390 C.I. eng. would that engine swap be possible? any advice would be greatly appreciated.
