Compressor sound when starting my expo
Hi all,
Everytime I turn my 2000 eddie bauer expo on i get a noise like a compressor from the passenger side then after about a minute or so it goes off.
When people get in the car it may start again but not all the time.
Can any one shed any light on this problem as I have only had the expo from dec 08, its been through an inspection and nothing was picked up.
Do all models have air suspension? and is there a way to tell if it has?

Since it is an EB there is a good chance that it does have it. A couple of ways to check, first look at the kick panel under the dash on the passenger side in front for a suspension shut off switch. Another way is to look under the back at the rear axle. There will either be coil springs or an air spring made out of rubber on each side. As far as how often it runs that sounds fairly normal, but others will chime in I am sure to verify that.
