Talking Bring you back...

Whats that song or movie that reminds you of your school days or just your youth in general? I am sure plenty of you can relate to Dazed n confused or American grafiti or another somewhere out there. I haven't thought about mine yet but I just thought I would post this topic and see what comes up.

the walflowers - one headlight

It was one of the most popular song in 97, It reminds me of the Boy scout trip we took since I heard it about 1000 times on the radio

My parents are pretty big moody blues fans And would play "the other side of life" on cassette When we would rent a cabin up in WI every summer in the mid 80's

Late 60s & early 70s rock reminds me of my youth. Blazing Saddles & Young Frankenstein are a couple of my favorite movies from that time.

Those Friday the 13th are the classic clasher films next to Freddy. I have all 9 friday the 13ths lol.... those movies spanned quite a bit of years. For music, the Stone Temple Pilots, Rob/white Zombie, Beastie boys and Metallica mostly. There is not very many new bands these days I can remember worth listening to when I was younger (I am only 23), some might even say I am still a youth. I love classic rock though, CCR & a couple others I listened to quite frequantly also when I was younger. Whats that song by Georgia Satelites....(cant remember the name) here are some of the lyrics..... Don't hand me no lines and keep your hands to yourself! ..... I have been looking for the album with that song on it for a while.

I remember trying to stay awake for the whole 23 hours of the Jerry Lewis Telethon when I was younger. I never made it all the way to the end. I haven't watched it in probably 20 years, though.

No John Wayne movies anyone? Or Jaws? I suppose Jaws was too scary back then for anyone wanting to remember it as a memory reminding them of their youth escpecilly in a state with ocean front property.
