slow site

This might be posted in the wrong section. So sorry if it is. But this Web site has been gettign slower and slower. It takes way to long for webpages to open. I just wondered if anyone else was experiencing this problem or if I am the only one.

I am on it everyday so I would like to get it fast.

If you are using Internet Explorer, you might consider switching over to Firefox .. (you can get a free download).. It sure made my windows XP come alive and work ALOT faster....
But, no, this site seems to be working fine for me..
Another reason for slow websites is maybe your computer is downloading updates to your software, if you have auto-download features..

Bowie, are you on a dial up connection? IF so that might be your problem. This time of year when I had dial up was terrible. Everyone comes in when it gets cold so the user load is incredible right now. I have a 7mbit cable connection and still have slow times, or times when it actually tells me "Server too busy".

You might also try google's chrome. I know it's one of those "evil" google product but it's a hell of a lot faster than even firefox.

From 2:30 AM thru 8:00 AM PST, FTE ran slower than frozen molasses.

I finally got tired of waiting for 5-10 minutes for one post to enter, and went and read a book.
