#1. how do i program the sunviser garage door opener?
#2. how do i program the "number thingey" on the dr door?
#3. can i change the auto door lock settings? i always feel like i'm gonna get locked out.
#4. how hard is it to fix/replace the heater in the seat? my driver seat quit working.
when i remember the other questions i will chime in.
Everything you asked about is covered in the owners manual. If you don't have it I can look it up in mine sinve I also have an 02 bauer. The only thing not listed is the seat heater. And mine also went bad. I googled it and found a company I think in Minnesota that offered a replacement. As far as I can remember you run the seat all the way forward and slide the whole pad and everything out the rear. Ia m shure they made it seem easier than it really is, but look at the rear and you should be able to see what I am talking about.
The owner's manuals are available online through Ford's fleet website: www.fleet.ford.com. The owner's manuals are under the Maintenance tab. Enter your vehicle's info, and it will give you the manual to download.
seems i need to go back to the stealership and #1 get the keyless entry system code as it was not on the comp and i don't have the og owners man. #2 i must have missed somthing because the garage door opener it showed was the one where you put it in the holder and not the built in one like mine has in the driver sun visor.
t Universal Transceiver, located on the driver’s visor,
provides a convenient way to replace up to three hand-held transmitters
with a single built-in device. This feature will learn the radio frequency
codes of most current transmitters to operate garage doors, entry gates,
security systems, entry door locks, and home or office lighting.
I was trying to find it the other day since the wife is complaining about it. I didn't have any luck though. I'll try digging a little more and see if I come up with anything. Let me know on the same hand if you come up with anything.
Was it this company HeatedSeatKits.com - The Future is Warm ?
I read they seat replacement pads but can't find them oh there website. I've emailed them about a retrofit with the factory switches and controls. I will post with more information when I receive it.
FWIW I called the dealership and they sell the cushion assembly with the heating element (PN F85Z78632A23AB). Best price I've found is right around 300.00. Way too much money for my budget, so I'm looking for alternatives. Need both driver's and passenger sides.

If you bought this truck used it's more than likely that the codes to the keyless entry have been changed before I suggest taking it to the ford dealer and for 50$ you will get a new code. I took my 2001 exp eb in and it was pretty quick.
Zuess, you actually have to get your head under the drivers side dash and look up. I think its a box located near the parking brake with 5 large numbers on it. This is the factory set code. Then you can add a second code by following instructions in the owners manual. No sense paying a dealer $50 to find something for free.
