K obviously I know what these are but does anyone know how to set them, or whats up with these brakes from my dad's 78 White Western Star.

Those look like the same brake pots that are on our buggy's and there is no adjustment, they either work or they don't. The ones on our buggy's are twice the size but they aren't any costlier to replace than the pots on the trucks.
I will ask my Dad about those - he trucked since they started making trucks. He gave up his 1A license last year because they were making him take an annual medical so he said f - it!
He still drives the odd time just shuttling stuff between fields but he doesnt want to do that much any more. He just put in two days moving bales with one of those Morris hay hikers so he should be laid back (or maybe more hyper who knows) for the rest of the week!
