I'm the original owner of my 95 f150 with 4.9, and have 166k miles on the truck. When it was new, I could get 500+ miles before fuel fill ups. Now I'm at 350-400. I do regular tune-ups with plugs, cap and rotor, wires, air filter, etc. It holds a good steady vacuum of 20 in.
i replaced my injectors at 292,000 to upgrade the stock ones were still working and iv never gotten over 320 miles on an 18 gallon tank EVER i would do freaking back flips to get mileage like that
Fuel injectors can last forever, they are not considered a replacement part. They do go bad from time to time. Put a fuel pressure gauge on the truck and see if it bleeds pressure rapidly. If it doesn't drop after a few minutes the injectors are fine. There's only about 1000 reasons your mileage can drop and injectors are one of the least likely. A vacuum leak in the EVAP system could greatly reduce your mileage because of evaporation.
