Body Swap

ok i have a 94 f-150 Standard cab Short Box Pick up its a 4x4 with a 300- inline in it.... and a 5 speed.... now my big question is..... has anyone put a extended cab on a standard cab frame and made a shorty box to go on it.... ive measured it... and its close... definatly something where if i run big tires.. it will rub the back of the cab.... but with 31's i should be alright ... i was figure worse come to worse.. ill cut and section the bottom of the cab..... so i was wondering has anyone done this... and if so ... did you have to section the cab... to run around a 33" tire..... ??? any ideas... or feed back greatly appreciated

sounds interesting!! give it a world is what I think!!!! let us know how it goes! you also may gain some room if you put a bit of a body lift on it as well... ( maybe a 3 or 4" body lift may give you enough to clear your tires, instead of cutting the cab) just a thoguht! good luck
