I have a holley double pumper so they say and i don't know what cfm it is...i have i.m. a lot of people on this forum and cannot seem to get the answer to my question...this carb is old i assume and may take experts to find out what cfm it is...the numbers on the choke housing is LIST - 1708-4 any help would be deeply appreciated.
K i found out the carb came out of an international with a 392 v8 engine, a guy that i'm working with says that i cannot use this carb on my engine (351w)...would this help anyone out
First I will ask the obvious question do you have the tag #? As for not usable on a 351w it depends on several things, how high the rpm range and manifold type. If it is in the lower flow ratting you may certainly use it,is it for automatic trans use or standard shift take a picture and post it back to us I have a complete listing and overhaul manual for those carbs. we will ID it for you. JNT
Are you sure of that # I have gone threw the listings at Holley and have not turned up those #'s. I ques you got the numbers off the front of the air horn? that is the part no. you have listed, I have a Holley book on repairs by Haynes and it is not listed in that either, so please check that number again. JNT I found a 6708 it is or was used on engine's from 327 to 400 70-72 this might fall into the range, I can't remember if the international was still made in those years. the 392 ford and international are twins. Though they used it far past ford. This is the wright up by Holley, 0-6708,,70-72 327-400c.i.d. engines, not for use on EGR applications, mechanical secondaries, double pump, manual choke, 650 cmf non emissions. I hope this helps JNT

Well if you are trying to use this on an RPM engine, you would have to remove the gov. and, it just might get difficult to use with all the changes and blocking of ports. Don't get rid of it you have a rare carb.I have an International truck R190 in line six with a one barrel and gov. they made torque great bottom end. But I think by the sound of your questions you might be better off with a new carb. and hold on to that one till you meet up with some one who can show you how to use it. I do not wish to sound condescending, but I think you would be less stressed. JNT
good advice...i had a feeling that this was a piece of gold, i will keep it and if anyone needs it that you know of, let me know. thanks for all the help
I just got a 750 holley carb from a good friend of mine that i just rebuilt. I got lucky and he gave it to me. Can anyone give me any info on it as well...
Ok what you have now is a (4160) used on 350-455 CID eng. non Emission. Vacuum secondaries, man. choke. JNT. If you are going to play with Holley get a book like Haynes techbook # 10225(2069)
