Need help on My 89 Ranger
My 89 ranger won't start. I drove it to the gas station and when i tried to start my truck, it didn't want to start. So, i try to jump it and it didn't work. I then replace it with a new battery and it still won't start. I checked the fuse and the fuse was ok. Everytime i tried to start it the noise that comes out was a knocking sound. I have full power , radio and headlights still works. I don't know whatelse to check for. Please help.........

Welcome to FTE Kid88. If you could describe the symptoms a little more fully, it would be easier to guess what might be up. Does it turn over at all? Can you hear the fuel pump run for a second or two when you first turn the key but before you turn it all the way to engage the starter? Hang in there my freind, somebody with the know on those old 89's will be by soon enough.
You may have blown a relay to either the fuel pump or the PCM. That is just a guess.
