best 'system' of guns asap --please
I have a IR hvlp (1.5) and a cheaper primer gun (1.8). I am investing as i plan on dedicating the next few years of my free time becoming a paint wizard so to speak. I am decent with paint and was a bit better than that back in the 80's. obviously the game has changed.
So what is the optimum set up. I'm thinking sata 3000 rp digital as a good first gun- then building off of that ie want to have a great gun for each stage. From what I've read a good 1.3 will handle most base and clears.
I've looked at the sata 3k and like the concept of the rp's. Also liking what I read about the iwata rp's. Then there is the sharpe razor series that would allow the opportunity to stick with a single gun design etc. or the devilbliss centennial series that looks good. The devilbliss and sharpe would save some $$.
Does anyone have experience with all of these...what would be the difference in atomization characteristics etc. Sharpe is USA made which i like as well.
Eventually- ie end of summer- i'll have 3 tope end full size guns and a mini and air brush. But for now i need one to handle base/clear really well.
air is not a problem- got 20cfm and 120gal.
Also, i am a bit of a voracious reader- what are the best updated custom paint books.
thanks.....bunches
