Just wondering if anybody has any pics of an aftermarket double din in dash dvd, and or amp and sub box install. Im looking to buy an in dash dvd. I already have a custom box to fit under rear seat with one 10 JL woofer, and a JL amp. Any ideas would help before I buy. My budget is 900 for the head unit, but would GLADLY spend less. Thanks guys.
You don't need to change your HU, it is a good unit. You can upgrade all the 6X8 speakers and just add an amp to your HU to drive these speakers. Sounds like you're already set for the sub. If there is no RCA outs on the HU, you can use a line output convertor so you'll have RCA inputs for an amp. Pretty easy really, and you'll be amazed at the sound, if you pick the right componants. And by the sounds of what you picked for a sub, you're doing fine. You can do all that for less than what you said you'd spend on just a HU.
Don't have a double din Head unit, i bought a pioneer head unit and the clarity is incomparable to the stock head unit, yeah i like the stock head unit look too but im sure glad i got an after market one, pics are in my gallery.
Thanks for the reply guys. If i do go with a dif hu, is there a special adapter I need to be able to use the factory installed Sirius radio antenna already mounted? If so what one. Thank you for your help.

I have been researching an in-dash Nav HU for a month or so and from what I have been told by everyone that I have talked too the factory Sirius antenna will not work with aftermarket components. This sucks....
