Steering sector has about 3 1/2" of play; bolt w/locknut has been adjusted in to the max; anyone know of a parts supply that carries these? Can these be sent to a machine shop to be remade?
It looks like it had different steering boxes for F-600:
59/60 F500/600
4M, 4.7 M front axle utilizes B7Y-3575A sector shaft and a 1 ton 59/60 3.8 gemmer steering used the same sector. So you could find a 59/60 1 ton with 3.8 gemmer steering it uses the exact same box and shaft.
If it is a F-600 that uses a
6M front axle B7Q 3575-A sector shaft
I bought a new old stock shaft for my truck 60 4x4 from Dennis Carpenter. I e-mailed them and they got back with me within a few days.
I looked in my JoBlot catalog and they list a new old stock sector shaft for B7Y-3575A for $295.00, spendy but NOS. (718) 468-8585. I bought from them and have not been disappointed.

B7Q-3575-A sector, steering shaft
Front Axle: 6M;
Housing number: 5DC25
Complete Assy: B9T-3504-B ****************************** Note: 1959 & 1960 F350's w/3.8 Gemmer use the same steering box as the first F600 sector (B7Y-3575-A) I listed above
