throttle body spacer?

has anyone tried a throttle body spacer?& if so is it worth while,or just a waste of time & $$$..if this topic has been covered before im sorry i missed it. it seems like most of these aftermarket upgrades dont do much for the v10,but its a good excuse to hang out in the garage.{thats where the kegorator is}...

The opinion held by most here is, they are a scam.

They don't do anything except look nice, at least the anodized ones

thanks art,thats what i figured,it would be an easy upgrade & if it worked,everyone would buy one,but thats expensive for a piece of aluminum trim..

scan e-bay and you'll run across one sooner or later. i found mine for $5.oo! it woun't give you the 15hp like advertised.......i noticed .5 mpg increase after installing mine. AND you get that cool "turbo like" sound coming from your intake..........that alone makes you go faster

!! i wouldn't pay no $80.oo for one though. i tried it cuz the price was right.
