Slight hesitation/rough idle
Hey gang,
I have a 2003 F250 V10 with 19,000 miles. I've noticed a slight hesitation and rough idle upon starting the truck cold. This only lasts for about 2-3 minutes and the truck returns to normal operation. Just replaced a dirty fuel filter - no change. My next plan of attack is to clean the MAF and look at the IAC. Should the IAC be replaced or can it be cleaned? There appear to be some differing opinions throughout FTE on what to use to clean the MAF. Any reccomendations from the V10 gang?

An 03 with 19K should not have a IAC problem but who knows it could be it... PITA to remove and instal but real easy to de gum and clean
I would look at the MAF cleaning and throttle body first
Hell at 19K that motor aint even real broke in yet.... bet you got some fuel line and fuel pump gummed up problems from sitting too long...may be just bad gas or a lot of water in it too
Get that truck out on the long praire roads and chase a twister or two
