95 Ranger 3.0 sounds like a Lawn Mower
I have a 95 Ranger with 3.0 2wd and automatic. Starts great and ides well but under acceleration sounds like a lawnmower under strain untill I reach cruising speed. It seems to be lacking a little in acceleration as well. Any ideas? Thanks.

Interesting title...

The symptoms remind me of my old Mazda B2000 that had a small hole on the underside of the Cat...and it was also partially stopped up at the exit side... But your Ranger is a bit more technologically advanced than my Mazda was. So I'm sure you would see a CEL code or something "indirectly" related to the cat?!

I wouldn´t say that now that my injector prob. is taken care of my 3.0 runs quite nice here on the autobahn
