03 Expy - Sharp edges on AC vents?
Hi,
My 03 XLT has 4 AC vents on the dash that have an adjustment ring that closes the vent. The aluminum looking plating on the adjustment ring is very sharp on the edges and we have cut our fingers several times on these things.
Has anyone else noticed this issue? Ford wants $40/vent just for the parts to fix.

No replacements. They are the original. I just can't figure out how I could have caused the plating to start coming off at the edges. Man it is like having a razor blade along the edge. I think I will take a little emory cloth to the edge if Ford won't replace them.

I checked mine the other day.. Mine are sharp on the back side up against the dash... However I never touch that part... So i never knew... I always just touch the front... where the little grooves are.. It is smooth as butta... LOL
