New Truck (to me)
I recently bought a '91 Ranger with only 80,000 miles, and one owner. I fell in love with it before I bought, and the love has definately grown in the last couple weeks lol. I was just posting to see if there were anything of paticular interest or known problems about this model... it's an ext cab, with a 4.0 V6 and auto tranny. It's two wheel drive... I have gotten alot of crap for buying a 2wd truck in Alaska, but it works fine for me, and I can't afford to fix four wheel drive if it goes out.

Limited Slip also came in the 2wd Rangers, so you are not limited to looking for a junked 4wd if you decide to swap in a limited slip, provided you don't already have it. What is the axle code on the door jamb sticker? That will tell us the ratio and whether it's LS or not. -TD

Sorry, forgot to mention, yes, it has limited slip, and I already have 4 sandbags, 6 tires, and 4 rims in the bed for weight... I drive bigger trucks at work, which are of course rwd, so I have plenty of experience driving rwd in bad conditions, and know the importance of weight in the *** end
