I am in dire need to level out my 93-97 Ranger 4x4 4.0. I need to know where I can buy a leveling kit that consists of new springs and all the other needed parts to keep the front end geometry correct. Does anybody know what company makes a good leveling kit for under $250 and where I can purchase it over the internet?
Try this page. (http://rough.roughcountry.com/83-97%20Ranger.htm) I used the springs on my '96 4X4 and had a shop install them as part of other work. Springs were around $100 and then your labor. There was nothing else needed on my truck but they did talk of possible different ball joints that were adjustable if it did not align correct. Didn't even need new shocks as the stock ones were ok for now. I will put on ones a bit longer when I buy new ones. Brought up the front just right and it looks real good.
I used spacers, you can probably find leveling coils all over ebay. You will need to have the truck alligned by a shop. I still havent alligned mine yet, I need to do that soon.....are you going to do the work yourself or have a shop do it? The leveling coils you should be able to get for 100$ or way less(ebay) then there's some camber bushing you might need to align your truck, but i think the alignment shop should be able to take care of that. Other wise theres nothing else you really need. Unless you want to spend an extra 150$ on rancho shocks with red dust boots to make your truck look cool. When i put my spacers in i replaced my shocks with some gabriel gas ryders which are like 15-20 bucks a piece. This step helped the ride alot!
I found the same springs on e-bay that are listed in the web site that I gave you. The price was the same also. After much research on this subject, I found the Rough Country springs were the least expensive to do. Even the shop I had do my work was surprised at the price as they only found items for around $200 per set. It is not really a "kit", just a set of coils. That is really all you need other than an alignment using the camber bushings that any shop can get if they do not have.
Also, where are the leveling kits "all over Ebay"? I looked and found 0.
#1, i saw you were getting no responses and had to bump your post, so i posted about my previous experience with leveling out the front of my 94 ranger, the only difference is i used spacers instead of coils, I think I am speaking within the topic of this thread. Theres no need to post "Read the Topic" in bold red Letters
#2 your right on the springs, i could only find this one. There were alot more when i was looking for my spacers. Why do you NEED to have coils anyway, why wont spacers work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=42609
