EEC-V Diag. Test Connector?

I have a 1998 Ford Ranger, 2.5 Ltr. 2 wheel drive. Where in the world is the Diagnostic Test Connector, for hooking up a code scanner to obtain the trouble codes? Thanks for any help you can give me!
