1988 e350 7.5L 460 ecu question

Hello everyone! As the title states, I have a 188 E350 motorhome.

I just had the wiring harness replaced, because it had a Shortt in it. My mechanic put the wiring harness back in and still no dice. He says doesn't sure it most likely fried the ECU.

My exact part number on my EBU is: E7TF-12A650-BV1B

I found one for a good price on rock auto, but the last four digits are not the same.

here is the ECU:

Any chance it will work? I'm having a heck of a time trying to find the exact part number that is not $400-$500 in the part I found on rock auto is like 150.

Check out my thread from a while back - older MH with the 460 that had an ECU problem, turned out to be a capacitor.

Might be worth seeing if they can repair it, rather than trying to find a complete new one?
