Keep or replace these injectors? Mixed up bunch here
I removed my valve covers today...removed some Bosch glow plugs and swapped them with some Motorcraft ZD-11's I had from a previous build. All Ohmed out at .5 or .6 so they are good.
I also discovered an odd mix of AD injectors. All of these are AD injectors...even in #8. I could care less about noise since I run 160/30's in my other truck and its not noticeable to me. But what fresh hell is this? There are 3 types of solenoids on these.....(pics attached). I am planning to send them to Jim at Rosewood in Feb of next year for rebuilding, but should I send these or find matching ones, or does it really even matter once they are rebuilt? I have no clue what brand the middle one is. I think 1 and 3 are Alliant though.
1st injector is ment for 94-97 7.3 powerstroke if the internals match the solenoid(someone could of swapped the solenoid into an AD injector, at least the solenoid
2nd injector says its an AD could be a reman from anybody maybe Delphi? Well at least the solenoid
3rd injector is factory, well at least the solenoid.
the only real way to know is to send them out to get tested/rebuild.

Perhaps I missed it, but if the engine is running fine and the injectors seem to be doing their job, I would leave it despite what the solenoids say.
I'll know shortly....the turbo was shot, so I have yet to drive it like I want to. Had about 1/2 inch of in/out play and I could see scrape marks on the side where the wheel was. I heard nothing but turbo bark on my way home...had to downshift a lot too...no power. I have a Gen2 300x on it now...just replacing all the sensors before I take it for a real spin. ICP was oil impregnated and it was throwing a P0472 code so I know both of those have to be replaced. I am hoping the IPR is good for a little while longer.

Thanks for that info, I knew only one of them was "normal" looking.
