Talking windshield Resevoir is full but dashboard says emptyy

I have purchased a new windshield reservoir and filled it. The water flows perfectly to the windows. The same fault comes up after 15 seconds of starting the car "windshield reservoir is empty". I can reset the dashboard information and the fault goes away until I start the car again. Does anyone know if there is something other than the reservoir connections that must be addressed?

The new reservoir came with a new pump and a new "water gauge" and this is the second new reservoir that I installed. There are two electrical connections. One for the pump and one to monitor for water in the reservoir. All wiring looks to be good.

You might not be getting a ground to the circuit. According to the FSM, the ground (G101) is located on the RH side of the radiator.
See the attached PDF.
