2010 Explorer XLT 4x4 5R55s transmission mystery

Hi folks,
My 16 year-old son and I bought this vehicle 10 months ago. 150k miles. Recently, the wrench and CEL lit up. The transmission only shifts into P-R-N-D-3. No 1-2 available in -D- or manual shift.. No overdrive-off response. It clunks a little when shifting into R and D. Smooth from D to 3. There is a leak from the front of the transmission, and the shift lever cycle seems loose. (it popped off the shifter assembly few months ago when the kiddo wedged a front tire into a curb, got stuck in park, then pulled too hard. I reconnected, deflated the tires, pushed it forward and it slipped right into reverse.)
Codes are:

P0743 - Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical
P0750 Shift Solenoid A Malfunction
P0755 Shift Solenoid B Malfunction
P0760 Shift Solenoid C Malfunction

P0962 - Pressure Control Solenoid A Control Circuit Low
P0966 - Pressure Control Solenoid B Control Circuit range/performance
P0966 - Pressure Control Solenoid B Control Circuit Low
P0970 - Pressure Control Solenoid C Control Circuit Low

I dropped the pan, replaced the filter, and changed fluid. The fluid was low, looked decent, with no significant metal shavings on the magnet. It acellerates slowly in third, and acts normally at freeway speeds with no grinding or noticeable noise. It has the same codes after a reset, I'm told it was last serviced at 100k miles. I'm hoping to give Zach some fatherly advice, but this a little out of my league and I your help.. AAmco reccommended a reman transmission for $6400. That's not going to happen. She cost $5500 and my son and I have grown attached since working together on some small repairs (Fuel rail sensor, thermostad housing, shocks/struts etc)

My question is if there are any other things an intermediate mechanic should try or is it time to punt?

Here's a pic of the leak:

Those are circuit codes, check the power and ground for the TCM, the wire loom for damage.

You have damaged wiring between the PCM and the connector on the passenger's side of the transmission.

Thanks guys, I'm looking into a wiring replacement and/or repair. The plan is to pull the plug, check the connector, and work my way down the loom. I'll post an update when completed.
