The PA Chapter's November 2024 Chat and B/S Thread
Getting a little help from one of the 4-legged residents of the house tonight, as Salem has offered his typing paw once or twice while I write this.. Also, posting a bit early since it's a school night and all...
Here we go, final two months of the year. We;'re into November now, and it seems like we just started the year. And keeping with the mantra of this year, the only constant has been change. I won't tip my hand just yet but there are some more big changes on the horizon - this time involving things with 4 wheels.
Holidays are coming, the end of the year is coming...work load is increasing for 2025...the chaos never ends.
No long preamble tonight - you know what to do, so do it.
Good morning, Gang! Welcome to November! Bought 140 Hug barrels for the kids in the neighborhood. Handed out 100 in the first 45 minutes. Finished with 4, then my son immediately drank 2 as soon as he got home from trick-or-treating with his friends. I'd say I nailed it!
Enjoyed the beautiful evening on the front porch with my wife. It is, by far, her favorite holiday.

We,last minute, got candy and did the whole community trick or treat thing last night too. Only had 10 kids come by but it was a nice night to porch sit especially for late October. Gotta enjoy it while we can.
good afternoon gang, late start today after 4 hours at the hospital for the upcoming annual checkup. almost had a new hood ornament someone driving the other way hit a big buck, sending it back my way, and almost into the wifes subaru TG for that option they call eyesite, man did that car ever lock it bracks without any input from me.
Spent today yanking the last of the carpet out of the house. And yet another good hardwood floor under it. So just have to finish cleaning up the tack strips.
That location is not real far from here Charlie. It's fascinating what's being found out there.
good afternoon gang, more house work here setting up the garage as a workshop, made a bench for my vise, drill press and grinder , hung wood tools on the walls
Evening PA! A lot of time on your knees removing tack strips. These are the kind of things we all do but wonder why we are so worn out as we get older.
