Getting the new month started very early, since it's a "school night." Quarter #4, with 3 months left in the year. It goes so fast, and so much has happened this year. Such an adventure and personally I'm not sorry about any of it.
The dates for the 2025 4-Wheel Jamboree events are out already, and my eyes are focused on that. With any luck, there will be a new version of my 98 out there next summer. Been working on sourcing a new frame after finding out the one I had previously sourced is damaged beyond repair. Anyone has any leads on a 1997-2003 Ford F150 frame for a 6'-6" box SuperCab built after 11/97, let me know. Been reaching out to salvage yards and other sources, no responses yet.
Morning. Another damp day on the range. Delayed a culvert set in Indiana til tomorrow, one we've been trying to finish for months.
Travis, hope your son's eye is alright.

I've run Cooper before and been pleased, and with only 30-something miles on them i think the ones i got will be good. Needed something a little more aggressive since i do some very mild off pavement stuff accessing job sites and such.
seems we each have different feels on tires i have Hankook on one truck ,great in snow and off road outright alful on wet roads around here, way to many winding narrow roads with guard rails right at the fog lines

Good Tuesday morning and welcome to October PA, Charlie, Shaun, Bill, Steve, Jason, Chuck and all the crew!
Bill, I'm looking at a set of Cooper Discover AT3 XLT for my Super Duty.
My current set of Hankook have lasted very long and held up well.
I have NOT had a good experience with the AT3s on my Super Duty. Barely more than 50% of advertised tread life, and I do not drive them hard. Went through two sets thinking I might have gotten a soft batch on the first set. Switched to the BFGs & never looked back.
Evening PA! Cooper indeed has lessened the quality of their products. My tire guy says that even if you are not driving them all the time they will crack much faster than the old ones. He said that change happened about 2021. This guy makes his living selling tires! I have a great set of AT3's on my '93 that I bought in 2020.
quality of coppers seems to have gone downhill after goodyear purchased the company in 2021, before that they could be trusted to work and last like advertised
brand wise when these hankoks wear out it's back to BFG for me also,
good morning lady and guys , coffees up , another day of construction here than done with 3 dumps and 2 big machines in the yard.
Good morning and Happy Hump Day October PA, Charlie, Shaun, Bill, Steve, Jason, Chuck and all the crew!

Jason, thanks for the review. I also don't drive my Super Duty hard and my current set of Hankook have lasted very well! I might have to re-think my tires now as I am really in need of a new set.
Good morning everyone. figured out the evap code issue. the damn hose wasnt connected to the solenoid on the manifold. the little guy's eye is good. we got meds for him and he doesnt seem to be bothered by it.
as far as tires the stock tires were crap on my truck. the Nitto ridge grapplers i had were good in all weather but i got 30k out of them even being rotated. so far im pretty happy with my falken at3w. was looking at the bfg hd-terrain t/a kt cause they are offered in a 40x13.5r18 but damn is the price steep
one truck came with michelin primacy lt on it , what junk they were leaked from the beads ,handled like pure junk, by 5k i replaced them with hankook dynapro what junk they are on twisty roads here in the rain, rear ends can't stay in place 15k on them half worn out should have added another 200 to what they cost for BFG's
