Godzilla VCT Lagging Issue? Swapped in Chevy C10
I have a 1985 Chevy C10 I swapped a Godzilla 7.3L and 10R80 into. I've noticed recently when datalogging the VCT seems to "lag". The engine was a used takeout from a wrecked E-350/450 van with 60k miles when removed. I am wondering if the VCT screen might have some buildup or debris and causing the VCT to act sluggish or if there is another common issue. Either way in the end, a VCT delete and camshaft upgrade will be done... But would like to know for reference.

In a truck the drive-by-wire causes a dead pedal feel which delays the DEVCT. Ford programs in a delay and people get around it by installing something like a Banks Pedal Monster, Pedal Commander or with a tuner like 5-star.
