This morning the old man jumped in his usual truck a 2021 F600 and headed to our processing yard. He texted me about a half hour after leaving asking me to bring the code reader with me when I head to the yard. I get there and pull codes P0300 and P0304. Luckily one of our trusty 6.2s was there with a flatdeck. We pushed the truck on the trailer with machine and brought it back to the shop where I replaced the #4 plug wire and it runs smoothly now.
I know some of you seasoned guys are thinking I may be overreacting but mind you this truck had a failed engine around 30k and the replacement engine is just about out of its 60k engine warranty Ford approved after the first failure. Still had all the original spark plug wires so I ordered the latest revised version and replaced all.
I believe at my 200k spak plug change I'll do the wires while changing them. Still have the originals wires and engine is still smooth idling/ running.

Thats a solid run out of your plug wires.
If the 2021 wasn't dads' primary truck and he wasn't too old to climb up on the bumper or tire to change a plug wire on the road I would have just changed the faulty one and left the rest of the new set in the truck for the future. Hate to replace good parts but with 13 active trucks im cheap.
