1956 F100 Ford-O-Matic transmission oil capacity
Hello,

We just had my father's Fordomatic transmission rebuilt for his 1956 F100 with a Y block. What is the correct fluid capacity. We had added a small aux transmission cooler previously and estimate it uses 0.5-1.0L additional. Your help appreciated

The chart below says 9.5 qts for a '56, I don't know if that is for a "dry" trans or just draining the pan.
