Long tube headers for SBC & stock steering / suspension??
Yeah, I know - I'm not a fan of a bowtie powerplant in Ford. (well, "sort of" a Ford - it's a '53 Merc M100)
But that's how I bought it from the PO, so I'm living with it for now and having fun until I can swap over to all Ford when time & budget allows.
Currently in process of pulling the lackluster 305 out and doing an easy swap with a used but good running 350 and a 200-4R overdrive.
PO had installed some tiny 1-1/4 primary "hugger" headers (I didn't know they were even available that small) attached to some awful welding and section splicing on 2" piping to the rear.
I would like to upgrade to long tube headers and a decent exhaust system. Any recommendations on long tube headers that would fit with stock suspension & steering?
**The Z-bar is gone with the automatic transmission.
I could not find long tube headers to fit. Ended up going with Sanderson headers, mid length. A balance between shorty and long tube. I'd have to do some digging to find out what model I used. And yes I have a SBC in my truck.

Thanks, I'll definitely check into that!
I was also looking at headers for the S10 SBC swap kit. Just judging by photos, I'm thing they might be a possibility... (??)
