The bus part overnighted somehow got lost. It was refound and the mechanics are going to pick it up. Supposedly we get the bus back tonight. We’re in Bar Harbor tonight.
Amazingly we haven’t missed much. The other bus company has stepped right in.
Edit. The bus is supposed to be back at 10:30 tonight.
Very nice and making great memories! That's the perfect way to see moose - they tend to be crazy. I'd rather wander around the woods with bear than moose, especially a cow with a calf.
We got our bus back yesterday. The lady bus driver said it has a Cummins engine and an aluminum pipe with a tee or wye with plastic ends broke. I guess the part was fairly readily available.
Let me start off by saying I don’t like blueberries. I don’t eat blueberries. 4 nights in a row the dessert was made with blueberries. In the morning they have muffins with blueberries. Blueberry granola bars. There’s just way too many blueberries on this trip. Last nights waiter got me some vanilla ice cream, but said don’t tell anyone.
