I am trying to find where the transmission ( 3- speed with overdrive) leaks from. I found out some oil is coming out from a small hole in the rear end of the transmission,
just in front of the overdrive. The hole is 6.7 mm and I dont se any threads. Anyone know what it is and what to do? Thanks!!

I'm not sure, but I believe the OD shift shaft runs forward into the trans case. That hole may be connected to the internal bore for the shift shaft. The shifter shaft runs forward to block reverse gear operation when in OD. I would guess you could put some RTV on a small bolt to plug the hole, see what happens.
the main bodie of your trans resembles my 3spd light duty from 1956. If it is the "same", that is the hole for the pin that secures the countershaft and reverse idler gear shaft.

No, typically the pin is an inch or so shorter than the bore hole. It is not a common leak point, so a solution could be what Ross said: Get a small bolt with a small amount of RTV sealant and stick it in there for now and see if that works.
The more "stuff" you put into that hole to seal it up, the more difficult it will be to get that pin out if someone ever needed to rebuild the transmission. The pin comes out of the other side; not the side shown in the picture.

Great! Yes, I saw the head of the pin on the DS. It's not a big leak but for some reason it started to leak more when putting the truck om jack stands, not completely level. I suppose I have to drain the oil and clean the area and then find something to put in the hole. Do you think a bolt/RTV is the best option or can I make a plug in durable plastic with a tight fit and make it some conical and tap in in? Thanks a lot for suggestions! Greatly appreciated!!!!!!
