I needed to cut back on expenses so I had to get rid of my 2019 F150 and got a 2012 Escape XLT. Very clean and in great shape. However, now that the weather has started to warm up I've noticed a vibration at stoplights. Upon looking at the vehicle more closely I observed that the radiator cooling fan appears to be off-kilter and is causing a decent amount of vibration which I assume is resonating through the rest of the car.
I am in no position to be doing advanced repairs in my garage. Would this be something I can address or should I get a mechanic to perform it?
I am going to get some estimates from some mechanics but I was curious if anyone knew what the running rate would be for the job. I see online that the part itself is about 100 bucks for the fan assembly. One youtube showed taking apart the entire bumper assembly and one showed just removing some of the radiator top pieces to get it out.
