Does anyone have a picture or can you explain how and where to connect the kickdown linkage on a Carter YF 6-2037. It’s a 1966 with a 240 and auto trans. Thanks!

Just bumping my own thread to see if anyone has as ideas. The kickdown linkage is disconnected. The rod coming up from the trans is there, but it’s not connected to the carb and I can’t tell where it hooks up. There might be some pieces missing, so if anyone has a pic that would be helpful too. Thanks!
One more time…. Anyone at all have Carter YF? Just need to know how to connect the kickdown linkage, or a good photo so I can see what I’m missing. Thanks!
Hi Anatta, I am using the Carter YF. I have the T-18. No automatic transm. I had to make a "stop" for the accell. linkage. Now I can adjust the idle speed. Could not do that without the stop. Don't know at all for what you need, surely someone here can assist you. All the best, Pete
My 69 chassis manual shows a general depiction of the linkage in describing how to adjust it. It is complicated IE. bellcranks, springs and more than one rod involved. You will have to find a donor truck if you hope to gather all the parts up. Or get on Lokar's website and see if they have something that will work.
